PSY 268 Psychology of Women(CO)(P&D)

(Also WGS 268). 4 hours; 4 credits. A critical review of theories and issues concerning the psychology of women. Theories of gender including biological, psychoanalytic, and social learning, among others will be discussed. Issues particularly relevant to the lives of women and to the psychology of gender will be explored, including gender stereotypes, physical and mental health issues, sexuality, personal relationships, and violence against women.
