ECO 285 Economics for Engineers(RLA)

4 hours; 4 credits. An accelerated calculus-based course. Introduction to contemporary macroeconomic and microeconomic theory. Topics include output, unemployment, inflation, functioning of markets, government policy, and productivity. The course concludes with engineering applications. (social science) NOTE: This course satisfies the College Option. Prerequisites: ENG 111, COR 100; (MTH 230 or MTH 231 or MTH 235), (CSC 126 or CSC 270 or other evidence of equivalent proficiency with computers).
