ECO 253 United States History Economic History(RLA)

(Also HST 253). 4 hours; 4 credits. A survey of the development of the U.S. economy and the factors influencing the pace of long-run economic growth. Key changes in technology, business organization, financial markets, and legal and government policy that have influenced the course of U.S. economic development are examined. For history majors and minors, this is designated as a United States history course. Prerequisites: ENG 111, COR 100 and (ECO 101 or ECO 111 or ECO 112 or any college-level history course.)
