EDD 635 Experimental Philosophy of Education

3 lecture hours, 1 conference hour; 4 credits. Experimental philosophers design experiments to test how ordinary people - as opposed to philosophically trained ones - think about philosophical issues and ideas. Students will design and carry out experiments to validate, refine, or refute the ideas of educational theorists or the practices of contemporary schools. Pre- or corequisite: EDD 632
