Centralized generation vs distributed generation of electric power. Integration of renewable energy and energy storage; microgrid topologies. Power flow with digital footprints: leveraging the real-time intelligence to optimize the power flow. Load flow control and phase shift transformers; voltage stability and intelligent reactive power management. Demand forecasting and bulk power systems automation. Interoperability and security.
