The department offers both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees. Students can also earn a minor in psychology which can be combined with many other majors. In addition, the department offers and Advanced Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders and the Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. The department participates in the Master’s program in Neuroscience, Mental Retardation, and Developmental Disabilities. The director of the Master's degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is Dr. Frances Melendez. The coordinator of the Advanced Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorder is Dr. Kristen Gillespie-Lynch.
