GEO 106 Earth Resources(SW)

3 hours. An introduction to Earth resources, including energy, mineral resources, water supply and soils. The class will explore how these resources are produced by geologic processes and how we find them. It will also investigate how human population growth and changing lifestyles on these resources and the environmental impacts associated with their use. A full day fieldtrip is required.
