ECO 250 International Economics(CO)(CW)

4 hours; 4 credits. A study of the effects and causes of trade between nations. Tariffs and non-tariff barriers to free trade will be analyzed, as will the effect of common markets on international trade. Historical patterns of international trade, and the theory and evidences of imperialism will be considered. The course will include an introduction to the financial aspects of international trade. (cont. wld.) (social science). Prerequisites: ECO 101 or (ECO 111 and ECO 112), ENG 151, and COR 100. Please note: This course satisfies the college option.
