POL 201 Early Western Political Theory(RLA)

4 hours; 4 credits. Analysis of major ideas and concepts of Western political theory from the Greeks to Hobbes. Such questions as the ends of politics, the nature of citizenship, the extent and limits of political obligation, and the relationship between rulers and the ruled will be discussed.
