SOC 350 Psychosocial Aspects of Disability(RLA)

4 hours; 4 credits. The psychosocial impact of disability, differential development, and social adjustment among disabled groups, friendships, intimacy, and sexuality. The changing role and status of the disabled in our society with particular emphasis on the issues of stigmatization and labeling. (p&d). Prerequisites: SWK 107 and (SOC 100 or SOC 203/ANT 203).
