CHM 116 Principles of Chemistry II(SW)

3 hours; 3 credits. Chemistry and biochemistry of carbon compounds. A study of the nomenclature, structure, properties, and reactions of organic and biochemical compounds. A number of special topics are discussed, some of which are the petroleum industry, giant molecules (synthetic and biopolymers), environmental chemistry, drugs, and oral contraceptives. (science).
