ART 207 Nineteenth-Century Art(RLA)

4 hours, 4 credits. An analysis of the principal currents of European and American art from the revolutionary period through the origins of modernism in the last years of the century. Topics to be covered include Neoclassicism, Romanticism, Realism, and Impressionism. (arts & com.) (TALA) Prerequisites: ENG 111 and (ART 100 or ART 200 or ART 201 or permission of the instructor).
