(Also HST 263). 4 hours; 4 credits. Continuing role of African Americans in the building of their own nations. Emphasis on freedom movements as shown in literature, in civil rights movements, and in nationalist and other political organizations. (social science) (p&d). Prerequisites: ENG 111, and COR 100 or any college-level history course. Note: This course satisfies the college option.
